Andy has led companies doing pioneering work in the telecommunications industry for the past two decades. After graduating from Stanford University, he joined IDT, one of the first companies to provide internet and VOIP service, where he helped with bringing the startup to a successful IPO. In 1997, he co-founded SAKON, which brought voice and broadband internet services to the developing world, and built India's largest broadband wireless network.
Andy co-founded GSG with Amine Doukkali in 2003 with the goal of continuing their mission to take on the challenges brought on by emerging communications technologies and their intersection with mobile, cloud computing, wired and wireless internet, and big data. As CEO of GSG, Andy helps determine the company's focus and direction, and drives the company's growth through business efforts, strategic partnerships, and innovative approaches to delivering industry-leading service.
Amine co-founded GSG with Andy Goorno in 2003, and was a key part in the company's transformation into a leading provider of cloud-based applications and services. In his role as Chief Operating Officer, he directs the design and development of our GSGCloud platform and ensures that it integrates with the business process services delivered by our team in India. Through his efforts, GSG is enjoying great success through the delivery of an excellent product and industry-leading service.
Amine's partnership with Andy spans decades. In 1997, they co-founded SAKON, which brought voice, internet, and other telecom services to parts of the world that had yet to hear their first dial tone. As SAKON's President and COO, he guided the company's global expansion strategy and the development of its products, services, and global network and IT systems, helping it amass 60 million dollars in revenues and be acquired by the Titan Corporation.
With extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, Dan leads the company’s telecom expense management (TEM) strategy, working to build the unique systems and processes that power what industry insiders view as one of the most competent TEM practices in the world. He directs company-wide financial controls, collaborates with senior management to set the strategic plan and product/service development, and manages GSG's key accounts and partnerships.
Previously, Dan was a director at SAKON, where he supervised its global network deployments, negotiated major telecom and equipment procurement contracts, oversaw financial planning, and managed outsourcing initiatives. Before that, he was a senior analyst at Chela Financial. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with emphasis on economics from Wesleyan University and a professional business certificate in leadership and management from the University of Vermont.

Sudhir has founded other companies, including the embedded software company Cruise Control, and Scrabble, a digital cinema firm providing digital projection solutions to over 1,000 screens in the world's most movie-obsessed country (it was acquired by UFO Digital Cinema in 2012). He's also the Vice Chairman of MMF Hospitals, a large charitable hospital in Pune, India, which treats over 100,000 patients every year.
As GSG’s Vice President of Operations, Mohan Sathe’s role is a pivotal one. He established the company’s offshore operations center, which is staffed by over 200 telecom and financial experts who provide the knowledge and skill that help power the GSGCloud platform. He’s responsible for the delivery of service for all of GSG’s lines of business, which includes designing and customizing the development and deployment of GSG’s communications lifecycle management platform. He also oversees the financial, cost, and regulatory management for our India subsidiary.
Before joining GSG, he was a partner at D.V. Sathe & Co., where his responsibilities were financial forensic and investigation audit and assurance, tax consulting, project finance, valuation of business, performance and risk advisory service. Prior to that, he served as a financial controller at Gateway Systems, where he was accountable for the overall financial and cost management. Mohan is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Dan brings sales, marketing, and business development savvy to GSG, as well as over fifteen years of experience and leadership in telecom, carrier, and mobile software and services. He leads the sales team in its ongoing efforts to find partners who can combine the GSGCloud platform with their own exceptional services and skills to provide industry-leading mobility managed services. Dan holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan where he majored in Marketing and Communications.
Prior to joining GSG during its founding in 2003, Dan led the sales and development efforts for SAKON, a leading provider of international telecom. At SAKON, he initiated and managed relationships with international carriers, fostered the growth of their broadband wireless and VOIP product offerings in Latin America and the Pacific Rim, and helped oversee all sales efforts as SAKON evolved from startup to success to a successful exit with its sale to the Titan Corporation.
